STPL remains CLOSED until further notice. Library Pickup Service is available.

Library pickup service is available and the outside book drop is open for your returns. Scott Township Public Library remains closed until further notice. The decision to remain closed is for the safety of the Library staff and community public health; the decision will be assessed on a monthly basis and is based on guidance from the CDC, the PA Department of Health, the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, the Allegheny County Health Department, and the Allegheny County Library Association.  We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you in the future.

Please note: In order to safeguard the health of patrons and staff, STPL is quarantining all items for a minimum of 4 days after their return.  Once you return items to the Library, it may take 7 or more days for your items to be checked in and removed from your account.  You will not incur fines as items will be backdated to the day they were returned.  Please have patience during this process.

As of 2/12/2021, donations of used materials are NOT being accepted. STORExpress has been very generous to STPL and has provided storage space for several months. They are no longer able to provide storage, free of charge, for the Library’s use. STPL cannot accept donations of used books or other book sale items. Thank you for your support and understanding.
